Perfect Chemistry. En av de böcker som legat på min att-läsa-lista längst, och som jag trots det inte tagit mig tid att läsa. Jag har varit så nyfiken på den här boken, och varje gång den dök upp på en bokblogg påmindes jag om hur gärna jag ville läsa den. Så i somras tog jag mig i kragen och beställde hem den... och klämde den på två dagar.
Jag gillade den här boken, väldigt mycket till och med. Den har en ganska stereotyp handling, är på en del ställen lite förutsägbar - jag visste hur den skulle sluta efter att ha läst halva baksidetexten. Men det betyder inte att den här boken inte var bra eller inte nådde upp till mina förväntningar. Ofta gör man misstaget och tänker att om man vet hur en bok ska sluta så behöver man inte läsa den - vad är poängen? Tja, poängen är att man missar själva historien, konversationerna och händelserna som leder dit. När det kommer till läsning så är resan målet. Och att man tror att man vet hur allt ska sluta betyder inte att man vet allt som ska hända, det gjorde inte jag. Så gör inte det misstaget med den här boken!
Den var vitsig, och hade trots sin som tidigare nämnt ganska förutsägbara handling ändå lite djup i sig, som gjorde det intressant - den tog upp en del frågor kring tonåren och vad som är viktigt på ett bra sätt tycker jag. Den var välskriven och relationerna byggdes upp realistiskt och det var kort och gott en bra contemporarybok. Jag uppmanar er alla att ge den en chans, det är den verkligen värd! Och jag kommer absolut att plocka upp nästa bok!
